“Sputnik” is a Russian word originally meaning a “travelling companion”

We respect the flexible and avant-garde attitude of the French people who use foreign languages as their own, and have infused our respect towards the tradition of French cuisine and our desire to challenge new things into this name, ”le sputnik”.

Regarding Reservations

  • When making reservations, please be sure to call the restaurant for day-of reservations, or for parties of six or more
  • Le Sputnik takes reservations as early as two months prior to requested dining dates.
  • We only offer the Chef’s ‘Omakase’ menus, but at the point of reservation we ask all customers for allergy information and whether any ingredients should be avoided.
  • Please understand that we are not able to accommodate diners with severe allergies to such ingredients as seafood and dairy products.
  • We only accept reservations from parties of people aged 12 and up, unless the entire restaurant is reserved.
  • We advise all customers to avoid overly casual attire.

Regarding Cancellations

  • When a reservation is cancelled, cancellation fees will result as detailed below. A cancellation fee may also be given to parties smaller than the number specified when making the reservation.
  • The day before: 50% of the menu price
  • The day-of: 100% of the menu price
  • Please be sure to let the restaurant know of any changes in the size of your dining party.
